After graduating from Kyoto University with M.Sc. in Engineering, he had a long career at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President. Hideto Nishimura is now advising many Japanese and non-Japanese companies through his consultancy MIRAI Management Strategy Research Institute. He has been a board member of Japanese companies.
