Chris works at the intersection of mission–driven, B2B start-ups and unmet needs in key sectors of the global economy, including his current roles as Commercial Advisor to NatureAlpha and Zeus AI. Until recently he was Founder and Partner at Level 11 Analytics , and Chief Commercial Officer at risQ, until their joint acquisition by ICE Data Services in December 2021. In those roles, he directed and drove the companies’ entrance and focus on fixed income analytics. These activities include working with the cohorts of buy-side, sell-side, insurance, banking, ratings agency, and issuer advisory firms, delivering a full suite of climate risk, carbon transition risk, social impact data and financial implications and analyses across an increasing range of asset classes. He previously directed strategy, product development and delivery as Chief Research Officer of Lux Research, an emerging technology subscription intelligence service to hundreds of the world’s most innovative companies and agencies; and as Chief Technology Officer at Callaghan Innovation, the New Zealand Government’s innovation agency, which included supporting and developing the country’s vibrant FinTech, GovTech and AgTech start-up communities. He brings first-hand experience in developing and growing information services businesses, commercializing multidisciplinary products and solutions drawing from physical, life and data sciences, and working with executives and their teams in mission-driven, innovation-enabled initiatives.
