Everox secures €12.5M EIC Accelerator funding to cut CO₂ emissions in construction

Everox (formerly C2CA) has secured €12.5 million in funding under the EIC Accelerator program to accelerate its mission of cutting CO₂ emissions in the construction sector.

Rotterdam, 19 August 2025 — everox (formerly C2CA), a pioneer in waste concrete upcycling, has been awarded up to €12.5 million from the prestigious European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program. The funding underscores the transformative potential of everox’s technology to drastically reduce CO₂ emissions in the building industry by replacing primary raw materials with high-performance, circular alternatives. 

The EIC Accelerator supports top-tier innovators and SMEs with disruptive, market-creating solutions. everox’s selection reflects deep confidence in its mission to redefine the construction materials market through sustainable, closed-loop production. 

 The grant is structured in two parts: 

  • €2.5 million dedicated to building the everox garden, a pilot facility designed to accelerate scale-up and showcase the results to potential partners

  • Up to €10 million earmarked for everox’s Series B funding round in 2026, fueling commercial expansion and international market entry.

 By uniting innovative quality assurance, advanced process control, and cutting-edge laboratory facilities, the everox garden will serve as a launchpad for bringing everox’s CO₂-saving technology to new markets, applications, and partners worldwide.
