Wendy Leong

Director of Finance

 

Wendy joined Chrysalix in 2006 after spending 15 years in the real estate investment management industry where she was responsible for the financial reporting and administration to some of the largest pension funds and other institutional clients in Canada.

For over 10 years, she worked at industry-leading real estate advisory and services organizations to major institutional and private investors in Canada and the United States.  Wendy was responsible for the financial reporting of several Canadian real estate investment and mezzanine lending funds.  She was responsible for closely monitoring each fund’s performance to ensure the long-term value and profitability for each client’s real estate investment (over 80 institutional clients).

At Chrysalix, Wendy oversees the finance and administration functions and works closely with the investment management team on valuation and finance matters. She is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting of the Chrysalix private equity funds and related companies making early stage venture capital investments in the clean energy sector.

Wendy is active in her community, volunteering with various not-for-profit / charitable organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.  She is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Canada.
