Wendy joined Chrysalix in 2006. She oversees the finance and administration functions of the Chrysalix group, and works closely with the investment team on valuation and finance matters. Wendy is also responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting of the Chrysalix private equity funds making early stage venture capital investments in the industrial innovation sector.
Wendy is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, operations, legal, human resources and office administration at Chrysalix. She provides overall strategy and implementation of finance policies, ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and provides all stakeholders with financial information.
Prior to joining Chrysalix, Wendy spent 15 years in the real estate investment advisory industry where she worked at industry-leading real estate advisory and services organizations. Wendy was responsible for the financial reporting of several Canadian real estate investment and mezzanine lending funds. She was also responsible for closely monitoring each fund’s performance to ensure the long-term value and profitability for each client’s real estate investment (more than 80 institutional clients).
Wendy is an active volunteer with several not-for-profit and charitable organizations, as well as a running and yoga enthusiast. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
